Childhood NDE's: Maternity Ward
My spirit was visiting the maternity wards of hospitals during the out of body phase after my near death experience.
I had spoken about this with my Mother prior to the electric plant incident coming out and verified with my Dad.
I had showed up and watched as the 'spirit' of the person went into the body. I called it 'going to sleep' in the body. This had triggered my own recall of the night I was born in the hospital. I had a habit as a child to bounce off ideas between both parents. I would try and confirm answers by presenting part of the story to my Mom to let me give her side of the answer and then I would take the information I had gathered from her and repackage the question to present to my Dad to see if the outcome would be different or the the same.
When I started describing the scene I had seen in my 'out of body experience' to my Mom - she was horrified that I had vivid and accurate details pertaining to the birth process. I told her,
"I thought you said I came out of your tummy?"
I told her that had I had seen and what I had recalled of that sort of happening - it wasn't the belly as much as it was down below. When I pointed in the right direction my Mom was curious who had told me about that sort of thing. She couldn't wrap her mind around the idea that I had a 'recall' in my own mind about the incident of my birth as well as traveling out of my body at night and visiting hospitals where I was witnessing the sight first hand.
Of course, the sight and smell was a shocking effect. I told her that the body of the baby came out it was covered in blood. I had an impression from the stories that I had heard as a child that the baby came out wrapped up in a bundle of joy. I told my Mom,
"I wouldn't want to touch no baby when it comes out until it has a bath. Cause from what I saw if it, they come outa stinking mess before they are a bundle of joy."
One side of my family were practical jokes. My mom felt that one of my Aunts or Uncle had told me the story and got me to pass it on as if I had memories of it. Or that I had heard the story told to me and I had mixed it in with my dreams and felt I had dreamed it as a real trip to the maternity ward.
I went to my Dad prior to the verification of the electric plant incident. I approached him differently. I approached him with the memory that had been triggered of the night I was born. My Dad had been at the hospital so I started telling him the memory I had of his word that he spoken and his reactions to the situation of my birth. My Dad's initial reaction was the same. He felt that some adult was telling me these stories and I was getting them mixed up within my dreams by dreaming about the stories one of my Aunts or Uncle had told me.
After the verification of the electric plant incident, it shed new light on my claim that I had been visiting the maternity ward during my sleep in an out of body experience and witnessing it with two sets of eyes. One physical and one spiritual.
So my Dad asked if I could look for a clock and find out the exact time the baby came out as well as to try and find out the name of the baby after it was born.
The next time I had an out of body experience and caught sight of a birth process - my spirit was roaming around trying to find a clock to get the exact time. I was still at the stage of reporting time as,
"The big hand was on the three and the little hand was on the 4."
When I told my Dad the time this way - he got onto me about learning how to state time in a proper manner. That led me to express how I had a 'different mind' of understanding when my 'inside body' was outside. I expressed how I had to look back on the 'memory' of it and express in my mind of understanding after the fact. I told him,
"Dad, if you had been standing next to me when I was looking at that clock - I could have told you the time they way you like to hear it told. I could have told you everything there is to know about time. That is what I don't understand. How come when I wake up in my body again - I can't remember it like I thought it when I was there."
I was making a reference to a sort of 'dual mind' of understanding. When I was in spirit it was if I was two people in one. I had a higher mind of understanding and a lower mind of understanding at the same time. When I came back into the body - I was once again limited to the lower (physical) mind of understanding again.
The newspaper would have the 'birth announcements' for the day and each time I reported a 'dream visit' outside my body - it was verified through the newspaper.
